“The past has fled, what you expect is absent, but the present is yours”.

-Arab proverb-

1. you’re ruining your life – You spend time on things that do not bring you anything

At some point, we all need to disconnect from our professional obligations and distract ourselves.

However, if you spend most of your time having fun, you’ll end up feeling like you’ve done nothing.

We are not saying here that you must eliminate from your life any playful activity, but rather that you should keep only those that bring you something and leave others out.

You will feel like wasting your life if you drink excessively, watch TV for hours, or spend most of your time on social media.

If you want to be with your friends, find other ways to share things with them: go camping together, have a dinner at home and chat all night.

In short, opt for alternatives that allow you to improve your relationships, and to have the life you want to have.
