Take care of your line is not obvious, because to lose weight, it is not enough to simply watch the balance, you must opt for a healthy and balanced diet while playing sports.

Well-being coach Ricki Friedman guides you through these 7 questions to help you lose weight effectively:

1. Should carbohydrates be crossed?

When they want to lose weight, some people eliminate carbohydrates from their eating routine, believing that they are responsible for the accumulation of fat in the body. But is not it dangerous for health?

Carbohydrates are essential to the body. They provide energy to cells by turning into glucose. The latter is essential for the proper functioning of cells, especially those of the nervous system. Glucose is a prime fuel for the brain. On average, he needs 140g of glucose a day! Do not hesitate to consume sufficient quantities of cereals, potatoes and other vegetables.

Rather than counting carbohydrates, consider the amount of calories needed for health. Calories are the source of energy that the body needs to perform various activities such as walking, thinking, etc. The caloric amount depends on the person, but on average, the body claims about 2500 calories a day.

2. And nibbling?

According to coach Friedman, a person does not nibble because she is hungry, but rather by greed. The choice is generally made of fatty foods, sweet, caloric and poor in minerals and vitamins such as chocolate bars, pastries or chips. To remedy this, do not skip meals that must be rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber to provide energy and provide a sense of satiety sustainable. If envy takes over, promote fruit consumption.

3. When is the right time for dinner?

Is there an ideal time for dinner? According to the coach, “The time you choose to eat is one of the most important rules when it comes to losing weight.” Dinner should be eaten well before bedtime, because it is not recommended to sleep full belly. In the evening, even if the meal is healthy, it can affect your weight. It is therefore advisable to have dinner 2 or 3 hours before going to bed.

4. Should I eat three times a day?

Many people wonder whether they should eat only three times a day or whether it is better to add other meals. Those who are used to skipping meals will find it hard to follow this kind of diet. Nutritionists confirm that it is possible to take more than three meals a day, provided that they are light dishes, possibly accompanied by small snacks.

For example, the coach suggests taking half of a healthy lunch and then eating a yogurt and a fruit two hours later. This makes you less hungry at dinner, so avoid the urge to consume fatty or salty dishes.

5. Should I eat immediately after getting up in the morning?

According to Friedman, we should wait an hour after waking to eat. Breakfast is an essential meal to start – and finish – the day. A balanced breakfast has an impact on satiety throughout the day, reducing the urge to snack.

In addition, several studies have shown that a high carbohydrate breakfast can improve concentration and memory. Choose a breakfast rich in dairy products, fruits, cereals and hot drinks such as tea.

6. Should we follow the fad diets?

All that is trendy is temporary, so opt for an effective diet and do not try to do the same as others. The organization works differently from one person to another. If a certain diet has been effective on someone around you, that does not mean that you will get the same results. According to Friedman, “There is no trend in diets, the goal is to have a lasting result.”

7. Is it possible to have a beautiful body without exercising?

Our coach would like to confirm this point, but it is unfortunately not possible. Sport remains an essential activity to have a slim waist and a toned body. And physical activity offers more than just unnecessary weight loss; it is a powerful ally of the immune system, helping the body to get rid of toxins through sweat.

From the age of 25, the production of growth hormones, testosterone and estrogen slows down. As a result, muscle mass and tone decrease, resulting in looseness of tissue and increased fat.

Physical activity is therefore essential to prevent this loosening. Sport is also beneficial for mental health, it helps to overcome stress or anxiety by providing a feeling of well-being.
