The thyroid is a gland made up of groups of vesicle cells. The blood vessels pass through these vesicles and carry the essential iodine to the thyroid hormones. These will remain stored in the vesicles and will be released into the blood once the body needs them. These hormones must be liberated in a reasonable way, thanks to the brain, to keep a good rhythm of operation.
