The appearance of white hair, or canitia, is due to aging of the skin, and consequently, to the lack of melanin, the pigment responsible for their coloring. However, hair can start to fade at any age, which is why it is found in people as young as 50 years old. Although there are no exact causes that can hide behind this phenomenon, heredity plays an important role in its appearance. Indeed, if one of your parents had his first white hair at a fairly early age, it would likely happen to you the same thing. On the other hand, and even if there is no scientific evidence to support this hypothesis, excessive exposure to stressful situations may also be the cause, as it affects your body and inhibits melanin production.

A natural trick to get rid of white hair


  •  potatoes
  • 2 cups of water
  • A few drops of rosemary or lavender oil

Instructions :

Peel the potatoes and keep the peels aside as you will use them later. Pour two cups of water into a saucepan, then add the peels, and bring to a boil. Then lower the heat under your mixture and let it simmer for five minutes. Once removed from the heat, filter the mixture and allow it to cool. For a better fragrance, you can add a few drops of rosemary or lavender oil to your water before pouring it into a glass bottle.

After applying your usual shampoo, use this water for rinsing, then carefully massage your scalp and let your hair dry in the open air. You can apply this trick once a week.

The potato is rich in potassium, vitamin C and antioxidants that help prevent blackheads and acne. So, you just have to bake a potato and crush it until it’s pureed. Then apply it on your face and let it sit for 10 minutes. Finally, with a cloth dipped in warm water, clean your face by making circular movements.

Against wrinkles
This vegetable is rich in antioxidants that help prevent the aging of the skin and therefore the appearance of wrinkles. To take advantage of this virtue, take one or two fresh potatoes that you bake without peeling. Once cooked, filter them and allow the water to cool. Using a towel or washcloth, apply this water to your face and let it work for ten minutes before rinsing it.

Rub your nails daily with a half raw potato. This contains phosphorus and sulfur that prevent brittle nails
